India Love When Asked About DDG Dating Speculation: 'I Don't Know What God Has for My Life'
India Love also said that streamers at large are "taking over."
While India Love is stopping short of outright confirming or denying any speculation surrounding her and DDG, she’s confident that streamers at large are “taking over the entertainment spotlight.”
Speaking with a TMZ-affiliated paparazzo this week, the Streamer University alum, recently seen in a late-night stream alongside DDG, was first asked to give her take on whether streamers are “becoming the new rappers,” namely in terms of pop culture influence.
“I think streamers are definitely taking over the entertainment spotlight, in my opinion personally,” she said. “Because it’s a whole ‘nother world, it’s a whole ‘nother ball game, and it’s a whole ‘nother level of love and support that you get from your chat and your people that are along the journey with you. So, shoutout to Twitch. … But yeah, I’m booming. I’m really excited about the journey. I went from Tumblr to Instagram to reality shows.”
As for DDG, who’s currently in the middle of a public custody battle with Halle Bailey, the paparazzo pressed Love about relationship-related speculation surrounding her and the Blame the Chat rapper. This comes after DDG was at the center of similar speculation involving Lala Baptiste, who was mentioned in alleged texts from Bailey made public earlier this month. Baptiste, notably, later clarified that her and DDG have a “platonic” relationship.
“He’s a great person, he’s a great guy,” Love said this week. “I don’t know what God has for my life but I know he’s a great guy. You gotta pour into people who pour into you, and he’s definitely someone who’s right in my corner and I’m also always gonna be right in his corner. So yeah, shoutout to DDG.”
Elsewhere, Love offered effusive praise for her Streamer University experience, calling it “one of my biggest, best moments in life.”
As seen above, DDG and India Love recently discussed their plans to attend Funny Mike's Streamer Prom event together, with the conversation at one point turning the topic of what does, and doesn’t, constitute “cheating” in this context.
