Duke Dennis Arrested in Texas, Seemingly After Hide-and-Seek Game With Kai Cenat

Duke Dennis was arrested in the San Antonio area over the weekend, with fans speculating the arrest came after he was seen playing hide-and-seek at a shopping center with Kai Cenat.

In alleged footage of the incident, Dennis appears to be taken away in handcuffs inside of the Shops at Rivercenter mall in San Antonio. Another alleged video of the arrest, captured by a bystander, shows Dennis outside and in handcuffs.

Neither Dennis nor Cenat had directly addressed the arrest as of this writing.

Public booking records show that Duke Dennis, born Denzel Dennis, was taken into custody on Aug. 3. Listed charges include criminal trespassing and evading arrest, both misdemeanors. Both charges have a listed bond amount of $1,000.

The San Antonio Police Department was the arresting agency. Complex has reached out for comment. Dennis has since been released, as evidenced by a statement shared to his Instagram Stories Sunday evening.

“Officially on vacation,” he wrote. “Need suggestions on where to go.”

Earlier this year, Dennis spoke about being detained in China after law enforcement officials discovered a bullet in his bag.

During a previous stream with Cenat and Agent 00, Dennis recounted the experience.

“They had me there for two and a half hours trying to figure out what to do with me,” Dennis said.

According to Dennis, the authorities found the bullet in his Goyard bag and asked him how it ended up there, and he responded by saying that the bullet was initially inside of his car.

“It was in my center console in my car because I didn’t want to get pulled over with a bunch of bullets,” Dennis said. “When I cleaned them out, I put them in my Goyard bag. I took that same Goyard bag to China."

Dennis said that the Chinese authorities even measured the object while he was detained, to make sure that it really was a bullet.

“I can’t lie—I was scared as fuck,” he admitted.

The ordeal ended without him being formally charged or facing jailtime, so he considered it a win.

In another public moment in Dennis’ world, the streamer was left visibly shocked when a random woman asked if he wanted her to perform oral sex on him. He walked off afterward, baffled.
