Emanny Throws Object at Marc Lamont Hill, Knocks Over His Coffee During Joe Budden Podcast

Joe Budden Podcast cohost Emanny snapped on another JBP contributor, Marc Lamont Hill, and threw something at him during a taping.

In a viral clip from what appears to be a recent episode of the podcast, Emmany asked his fellow hosts if he “sounded crazy” after a test of his reading skills. After Hill suggested that he reacted just like he thought he would, Emanny grabbed an object and threw it across the room.

Emanny’s aim was right on point, because it struck Hill in his hand, causing him to spill coffee all over himself. Instead of being angry, Hill laughed off the situation. As the other hosts all began cackling in unison, Emanny gave Hill a warning. “Stop playing,” he said.

In the aftermath of the throw, Hill did not seem distressed at all. He hopped on X to jokingly call for sanctions against both Emanny and Budden himself.

"I think the only reasonable response to this is to strip Emanny and Joe of their eligibility for podder of the month in August," he wrote. "I hate to see it happen, but we need accountability in order to heal." ("Podder of the Month" is a prize sporadically awarded to a member of the JBP team).

Emanny quickly responded, in a similarly lighthearted tone.

"If Marc Lamont Hill sues me or gets me removed from POTM eligibility, I'm filing a RICO against the whole network!!!" he wrote.

Ian Schwartzman, Joe's longtime manager, hopped in to seemingly help him out: "I have the Rico pre filed for you. Give me the word."

Hill brought up the incident again in a response to the @JBTVCommunity's public ask about who on the JBP should win "Podder of the Month."

"I had @JoeBudden in the lead but he's missed sooooo many days," wrote Hill. "And we can't reward @emannymusi's reckless assault on me. I think the only responsible thing to do is to choose me. #freepalestine."

Emanny and Hill have frequently clashed in the past, including one now-notorious argument about the legendary R&B singer Sade (Hill pro, Emanny against). While they’ve never had a serious altercation before, they’ve exchanged words loudly (as have many other of the cohosts).

Emanny has shown his propensity for violence in the past, though, so Hill may want to listen to his warning. While participating in Queenzflip’s 24-hour room challenge earlier this year, Emanny got into an altercation with another person there.

After alerting his adversary that he would knock him out, Emanny commanded him to “show me crazy” before going upside his head.
