Gabrielle Union Celebrates 10-Year Marriage With Dwyane Wade in Tearjerking Post

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade are celebrating 10 years of being married. To commemorate a decade of companionship, Union shared a tear-jerker of a post on Instagram dedicated to her husband.

In a carousel post featuring videos of the two together celebrating their big day with family and friends, Union gave a sincere shoutout to her hubby. “10 years of having a very long, very fun, very loving, never ending sleepover with my homie, lover, partner, and best friend,” she wrote. “Through sickness and health, crisis and celebrations, through bad golf days and flubbed lines and new adventures... We stand united and we thrive. 10 toes down, 10 years in, forever to go.”

In one of the videos in the carousel, Wade opened up about the couple’s struggles recently to get to a decade together.

“Year nine was hard for us,” he admitted. “We were kind of reminiscing about how we got to even here.”

Wade continued on, flipping the script and expressing his gratitude for his wife. “Thank you for being there to show me all of the things I forget along the way,” he said. “Thank you for continuing to show me that you ain’t going nowhere.”

“That you’re willing to love me through shortcomings I’ve had and the moments of growth that I have,” he continued. “So, thank you for teaching me, thank you for believing in me.”

Later in the post, Union responded to Wade’s emotional message.

“What you just said means everything,” she remarked before giving a shout out to the people that help keep their marriage strong. “As you guys all know we’ve been on this path for a long, long time. And the path has been long and beautiful and has taken twists and turns and at every turn you guys have been there. You’ve always put us back on the path.”
