Halle Berry is donating her entire closet to help out people who have been displaced due to the ongoing fires in Los Angeles.

The actor shared a video originally posted by Sharon Stone, who organized a group effort to assist the people who have been impacted by this devastating natural disaster.

“I’m packing up my entire closet and heading over to the COOP!” Berry wrote on Instagram. “If you live in the Southern California area, I urge you to do the same. This is something we can do right now today to help all of the displaced families that are in need of the basics today! Thank you @sharonstone for your leadership. Love you Lady ❤️”

Stone explained the initiative in the video that Berry posted, saying, “A famous quote by Margaret Mead said, ‘Never forget that a group of thoughtful and committed citizens can make a difference.’ We’re at the Coop on 7282 Beverly Blvd collecting gently used clothing for kids, men, women, children, people that have been displaced and affected by the fire.”

So far, 10 people are reported dead and more than 180,000 people have been told to evacuate due to the wildfires that have destroyed more than 1000 structures in Los Angeles. Los Angeles County supervisor Lindsey Horvath recently said the wildfires were "incredibly unusual" for the time of year, and said that "climate change has impacted our region."

Multiple companies are beginning to use their resources and platforms to assist the victims of these wildfires such as:
