Halle Berry Appears to Insist She Doesn't 'F*cking Believe' Eric Benét Had Sex Addiction

Eric Benét is still making his ex-wife Halle Berry’s blood boil.
The actress recently spoke about an unnamed husband on the Armchair Expert podcast with Dax Shepard, saying that, “I had one husband who said he was a sex addict. But I don’t fucking believe that shit." The topic came up when Shepard asked if Halle was attracted to addicts.
While Berry didn’t mention Benét’s name, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that she was talking about him — especially since reports surfaced years ago that he went to rehab for sex addiction in 2002.
The duo married in 2001 and separated in 2003 — with reports that Benét cheated on Berry due to sex addiction.
Benét recently shared a video on TikTok in which he recounted a story about Joe Jackson teasing him over losing his wife.
The singer explained that he was at an award show after the divorce from Berry when he found himself on the receiving end of Michael Jackson’s dad whispering his ex wife’s name in his ear.
“The first thing I thought was, it’s pronounced ‘Halle’ not ‘Holly,’” said Benét. “Next thing I thought was what the actual F is happening right now?”
Benét laughed it off, confused — but that didn’t stop Jackson. “Two minutes later, I feel that heat on the back of my neck and smell that old man cologne,” Benét added before explaining the realization that he’d come to. “So now I realize he’s testing you. Is Eric Benét a punk? Can I do this to him all night and he won’t do nothing?”
At that moment, Benét said that he wondered if he’d actually get into a fight with him. “Am I about to get into an altercation with the man who whooped little Michael Jackson’s ass? Is that what’s about to happen right here on this awards show?” said Benét.
