iShowSpeed Just (Kind of) Walked on Water
Is he the first person ever to do it?
iShowSpeed just proved that he can walk on water…kind of.
The popular streamer posted a video on YouTube that depicted the feat that’s as inspirational as it is corny. In the clip, iShowSpeed announces that he’s about to walk on water and then…walks on water.
Speed didn’t travel across an ocean or a river, as many people might expect. Instead, the streamer depicted himself running and jumping into the air, quickly stepping into two bowls full of water placed on top of two motorcycles (one for each foot) before landing on the other side.
“I just walked on water,” he said after finishing. “Can’t nobody do that.”
Speed is a man of many legendary talents. In July, he shared proof that he could deadlift a car while in Poland. While visiting the country for his European tour, Speed competed against Polish-American weight training expert Adam Josef, who challenged him to deadlift a one-ton Mazda MX-5.
After a quick warmup, Speed successfully lifted the vehicle up without using a back support belt or hand grips. In successive rounds, Speed and Josef added one adult per round to bring on additional weight.
After lifting two adults and the car, Speed collapsed to the ground when attempting to get the car off the ground with a third person in the back. He was eventually able to do it thanks to the support of his fans.
"I'm locked in, bro. You gotta lock me in, bro," he told onlooking fans. "I'm about to lift three humans in a car, bro, you don't understand. Ain't nobody doing that but Superman, bro. Come on, bro, you gotta remember that."
That same month, Speed beat Robert Griffin III in a race twice. While in Estonia, Speed met up with the ex-NFL player and ended up racing. Despite RGIII previously being one of the fastest quarterbacks ever recorded, Speed was able to leave him in the dust on two separate occasions.
