Logic Blows Bobbi Althoff's Mind With $6,000 Pen and $2,000 Notebook: 'I Can Afford It'
The Maryland rapper justified the purchases by revealing his charity work.
Logic had Bobbi Althoff shocked at the fact that he has a $2,000 notebook and a $6,000 pen he uses to write down his thoughts.
Logic sat down with Althoff on a recent episode of The Really Good Podcast this week and flexed his expensive notebook and Montblanc-branded gold pencil that costs more than what some people make in a month.
“It’s a Montblanc. It writes things down,” said Logic about the pen when asked why it was so expensive.
Since pens run out of ink, he also detailed what he would do when that expensive writing utensil runs out. “You just refill the ink and it’s like the best ink in the world basically,” he added. “It’s 250 bucks.
Logic knew that the pen and notebook were ridiculously expensive, so he broke down his reasons for buying them to Althoff — who was clearly still shocked at the price tag, regardless of his reasons.
"I can afford it," Logic said, simply. "I donate to various organizations, help single mothers, all types of things like that with my money."
“The reason that I would invest in things like Supreme, Louis Vuitton, and Goyard, I would have made fun of myself 20 years ago, but now I actually understand that instead of buying 10 shit briefcases that are gonna fall apart over the next decade of my life, I can just get a really incredible one that’ll last a lifetime."
Logic then added in one more reason that maybe actually justifies the purchase. "What I’m going to write with that (pen) is gonna make me millions of dollars and it inspires me," he explained.
Logic’s expensive pen might have written down the script to his upcoming film, Paradise Records that’s set to debut at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 6. Written, directed by, and starring Logic, the film is set to feature cameos from Juicy J, Ron Perlman, Bobby Lee, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
