New York City Transit's Memorabilia Sale Extended to Monday
Come check out subway signs, seats, and more to take home — with your own transportation.
New York City Transit’s Memorabilia and Collectibles Pop-Up Shop has been extended till Monday, Dec. 16.
The yearly event that’s been going on since 2021 happened again this year on December 12th and 13th. Because of its success, a new day has been added for walk-in visits (the previous two days were reservation only).
If you’ve ever wanted to purchase imperfect items like subway signs and grab holds without processing fees, you’ll want to come to this event. If you want something big, make sure you bring the appropriate transportation. There’s no shipping of items, only pick-up.
In an Instagram post showcasing some of what’s on sale, a wide range of items appear. In addition to subway signs and grab holds, there are subway streets, card machines, and station globes — plus a wide variety of other items that the video doesn’t name.
The location for this pop-up shop is 2429 Stillwell Av, Brooklyn, NY 1123. For more information about the sale, head on over to the event’s website.
