T.I. Expresses Shock as King Harris Struggles to Spell 'Tomorrow' on 2 Chainz and Son’s Podcast
King was asked to spell the word on the Me & Halo podcast by 2 Chainz and his son, Halo Epps.
T.I. found out his son, King Harris, can’t spell “tomorrow” — and the look on his face suggests he’s going to glue him to a dictionary until he learns how to spell everything.
King was hit with the spelling question on the Me & Halo podcast that’s cohosted by 2 Chainz and his son, Halo Epps. When asked to spell “tomorrow” by the eight-year-old co host, King stumbled — just three letters in.
“T, O, R,” he started before T.I. practically jumped out of his seat to stare at his son in disbelief. Stopping to backtrack and think hard about this very difficult question, King corrected himself and started again.
“T-O-M-O-R-R-R-O,” he said, starting off strong and still finishing wrong. When corrected by Halo, King stood on his spelling. “That is it,” he said confidently before being informed of the actual spelling. “I missed a W,” he said, not realizing that he also added an extra R.
T.I. is a walking encyclopedia — so he couldn’t believe that his son misspelled the word. He laughed incredulously and then sat silently while digesting the fact that he probably needs to practice spelling common words with King (later on, the veteran rapper correctly spelled “misspell” when asked).
2 Chainz, laughing throughout King’s attempt, then explained why he had King spell the word.
“I ain’t gonna lie, the reason I gave it to King because, boy, my text messages, the last thing I’m spelling right is ‘tomorrow,’” he said before explaining how he spells it: “tom row.”
After laughing about the situation, King told Epps that he’s “always been a math type of dude.” Halo then asked him what 100 divided by two is — King didn’t respond. He did however let Halo know that five multiplied eight equals 40.
King’s lapse in spelling clarity, of course, caught people off guard — especially since his father loves to use big words. Check out some reactions below.
A few days ago (Aug. 5), T.I. was arrested at the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta due to a case of mistaken identity.
TMZ reported that he was apprehended by authorities and taken to the Clayton County Jail all because there was an arrest warrant for another Clifford Harris that was issued in another state.
