Sneaker culture has had quite the ride over the past few years, from SBs to the always kingly Jordan retros to the who-knows-what-these-hipsters-are-thinking looks these days, where kids are dressing up like their dads in 50-year-old man shoes. One shoe has remained consistent over the ups and downs of the footwear game, though: the Vans Authentic. This no-frills low-top started out as a skate shoe over 30 years ago, and continues to be a mainstay in many celebrities' sneaker rotation today.
