Telling the love of your life that you want to be with them till the end of the time is important. But, so are sneakers. In a move that proves you don't necessarily have to sacrifice one of those things for the other, the man in the below clip from social media carefully removed his right shoe before taking a knee and proposing.
The sneaker in the video appears to be the "Win Like '82" colorway of the Air Jordan 11, a shoe that is prone to creasing because of its patent leather mudguard.
The Air Jordan 11 is often worn in formal settings due to the dressy nature of the design, so perhaps the wearer here will bring this pair back when it's time for he and the bride to exchange vows.
