Another Chance at Gold Nike Air Max 97s

One of the most popular Air Max 97 colorways is set to return next month.

According to J23app, the sneaker's OG "Metallic Gold" makeup will re-release on Thursday, May 17, nearly a year to the day after its last official release in 2017. Although it's restocked a handful of times, this remains one of model's most coveted colorways.

This gold iteration maintains the same color blocking, red details, and reflective piping seen on the equally popular "Silver Bullet" Air Max 97.
