A Ma Maniére's Next Converse Collab Has the Nike Swoosh

Despite just releasing a six-shoe collaboration as part of its multi-brand "While You Were Sleeping" collection this year, A Ma Maniére has another sneaker project on the way.

This time, the boutique has created a special version of the classic Converse Chuck Taylor featuring a Nike Swoosh logo, as seen in the video shared by @fdfromthefuture on Instagram. It dons a subtle sail-based color scheme on the nylon upper and features a different version of the Swoosh on each of the lateral panels. A Ma Maniére's "A" logo covers the entirety of the interior and on the heel tab. It's worth mentioning that this sneaker also features Nike's premier Zoom Air cushioning unit in the midsole.

While this collab is expected to be the first Converse Chuck Taylor release with a Swoosh logo, it isn't the first time the Nike mark has been applied to the shoe. Back in 2020, the fashion label then known as Chinatown Market released custom Chucks that featured the Swoosh on the sides for $400. The late Off-White designer Virgil Abloh famously said in a Harvard lecture that he initially intended to put a Swoosh on his Converse collab but the idea was shut down by Nike.

At the time of writing, a firm release date for this A Ma Maniére x Converse Chuck Taylor has yet to be announced by either of the parties involved.
