Bad Bunny's Final Adidas Gazelle 'City Series' Colorway Revealed
The 'Vega Baja' Bad Bunny x Adidas Gazelle collab pays tribute to Benito's hometown.
With Bad Bunny's No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí concert residency in Puerto Rico kicking off today, the singer and rapper has reconnected with Adidas to create a new range of Gazelles.
Dubbed "City Series," the brand says the latest Bad Bunny x Adidas Gazelles pay tribute to Benito's homeland of Puerto Rico with three tonal colorways that each reflect a specific part of the island.
The "El Yunque" colorway references the rainforest and greenery throughout the island, while the orange-colored "Santurce" makeup is a nod to the lively neighborhood in San Juan. The final "Cabo Rojo" iteration is dressed in pink and pays homage to the salt flats and pink waters on the coast of the island.
Bad Bunny's "City Series" Adidas Gazelle collection is available starting today, exclusively in Puerto Rico at select Adidas accounts. The "Cabo Rojo" colorway will launch globally at a later date.
UPDATE (07/22): Adidas has officially confirmed the "Cabo Rojo" colorway of Bad Bunny's Gazelle "City Series" collection is dropping globally on July 26 at Adidas.com and at select retailers for $140. Sign-ups for a chance to purchase the sneaker are open now via the Confirmed app.
UPDATE (08/07): The fourth and final colorway in Bad Bunny's "City Series" Adidas Gazelle collection has been revealed: "Veja Baja." The unreleased colorway pays tribute to the rapper's hometown in Puerto Rico and is on display at "The Archive: Puerto Rico Para El Mundo" exhibition. Release details for the style have yet to be announced, but check back soon for official updates.
