Jordan Brand brought its ongoing "Unbannable" campaign to Super Bowl LIX yesterday with the help of Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and sponsored athlete Jalen Hurts with his Air Jordan cleats.

Ahead of last night's matchup between the Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, Hurts warmed up in a custom "Unbanned" Air Jordan 1 cleat designed by Dan "Mache" Gamache. The cleats don the classic "Banned" black and red color blocking famously featured on the Air Jordan 1 High. Where this pair differs from its sneaker counterpart are the bars across the Swoosh referencing the NBA banning Michael Jordan from wearing the Nike Air Ship in the 1980s.

"I had the awesome opportunity to work with @jumpman23 to create a custom 'Unbanned' cleat for @jalenhurts tonight. With 2025 being the 40th anniversary of the black/red Jordan 1 and the legendary story behind it JB came to me to help continue the 'Unbanned' story during pregame," Mache wrote on Instagram.

During the actual game, Hurts wore an Eagles-themed PE colorway of the Air Jordan 11 cleat. The Eagles beat the Chiefs with a final score of 40-22, where Hurts rushed for a touchdown, threw two touchdowns, and was named the Super Bowl MVP.
