Joe Freshgoods' 'Aged Well' New Balance 992 Releases This Month

Longtime New Balance collaborator Joe Freshgoods is revisiting one of his most popular collabs with the Boston-based sportswear brand with a new 992 colorway.

A listing for a previously unseen "Aged Well" Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 992 appeared on Ebay this week, with the seller asking for $600 for a men's size 9.5. Joe hinted that he has a 992 collab in the works for 2025 during his "A Prom to Paris" video campaign that launched in July, where the car had an Illinois "992 2025" license plate.

This latest Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 992 appears to be an aged variation of the duo's inaugural "No Emotions Are Emotions" colorway from 2020. The sneaker combines tan, brown, and sail hues across the premium mesh and suede upper, while "JFG" branding is visible on the tongue and heel tab.

At the time of writing, the collaborators have not revealed a firm release date for this "Aged Well" JFG x New Balance 992.

UPDATE (01/27): After a listing of the unreleased "Aged Well" 992 appeared on Ebay last week, Joe Freshgoods has officially unveiled his New Balance collab on Instagram today. Despite sharing a closer look at the project, formal release details for the shoe have yet to be announced.

UPDATE (02/10): New Balance has confirmed that Joe Freshgoods' "Aged Well" 992 will be released on Feb. 21 exclusively at Joefreshgoods.com, followed by another drop on Feb. 28 at Newbalance.com. The project retails for $220.
