Nike's 'GoldenEye 007'-Inspired Air Max 1 Releases Soon
Here's how to buy the 'Big Head Mode' Nike Air Max 1 Low Poly.
Nike will soon release another video game-inspired colorway of the Air Max 1 Low Poly via this "Big Head Mode" pair shown here.
Next up from the Swoosh is a black, white, and gold iteration of the runner that appears to be inspired by the GoldenEye 007 game from the late '90s.
This Air Max 1 isn't a collab and doesn't feature any official branding from the game, but has special details throughout the sneaker that reference back to the game, including the crosshair graphic on the insoles and the colorful smartwatch interface on the heel. It's worth mentioning that the "Big Head Mode" moniker itself is a reference to the game's feature that gives the characters oversized heads.
This "Big Head Mode" Air Max 1 Low Poly releases on April 7 exclusively at Swoosh.Nike for $160. The brand also confirmed that the sneaker is dropping via pre-order and will ship in four months from the purchase date.
