The 'Bright Citrus' Nike Air Max Craze Releasing This Month
Here's a closer look at the women's exclusive 'Bright Citrus' Air Max Craze retro.
As confirmed by Nike in December, the brand is rereleasing the Air Max Craze this year. One of the styles returning soon is the "Bright Citrus" colorway, as seen in the images here.
The Air Max Craze was introduced around 2001 as part of the Swoosh's brief Alpha Project series, which featured innovative footwear designs showcasing what was to come from the brand. Tying the Alpha Project silhouettes together was a five-dot detail, which appears on the tongue tag and outsole on this Air Max runner. The model has a slip-on design on the upper and incorporates a combination of shoelaces and a zipper at the midfoot. The visible Air units appear at the forefoot and heel of the midsole.
Despite images of the "Bright Citrus" Air Max Craze retro surfacing, a firm release date for the sneaker has yet to be announced by Nike. Check back soon for official updates.
UPDATE (04/16): Nike has officially confirmed that the "Bright Citrus" Air Max Craze will return on April 29 via SNKRS and at select retailers for $170. Scroll on for a detailed look at the upcoming retro.
