Salehe Bembury's New Balance 991v2 Collab Releases Next Week
Here's where you can buy Bembury's 'Colors Be the Palette' 991v2.
As revealed earlier this month, Salehe Bembury and Puma's latest partnership is non-exclusive, and the designer will still be able to work with other brands. Exercising that freedom, Bembury has now teased an upcoming New Balance collab.
Shown here is the unreleased Salehe Bembury x New Balance 991v2 courtesy of the designer himself on Instagram. The teaser images don't reveal the inspiration behind this latest sneaker project but do show that the upper is equipped with a purple hairy suede upper offset by a green collar. There are also subtle hits of orange appearing on the heel tab, while a sail-colored midsole appears below. Confirming that this pair is indeed a collaboration is the co-branding on the tongue tag.
Currently, release details for this Salehe Bembury x New Balance 991v2 collab have not yet been announced by either of the parties involved. Expect more info to arrive in the months ahead.
UPDATE (03/04): Bembury has confirmed that his "Colors Be the Palette" 991v2 collab will be released on March 13 at Beaspunge.com at noon ET. New Balance has not yet announced a wider launch for the project.
