Tyrese Haliburton Signs Endorsement Deal With Puma
'I look forward to being a part of their commitment to the next generation of basketball.'
Indiana Pacers All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton has reportedly signed an endorsement deal with Puma.
According to industry insider Nick DePaula on X, Haliburton has agreed to a multi-year deal with the German sportswear brand and is set to become "a future face of the company."
During the Pacers' Media Day event last week, Haliburton raised a few eyebrows when he wore a pair of loafers instead of sneakers for the photoshoot.
Haliburton was previously signed to Nike after being drafted in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings. Since then, he has regularly worn Kobe sneakers, including this summer during the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Other notable basketball players that are currently signed to Puma include LaMelo Ball, Breanna Stewart, RJ Barrett, Scoot Henderson, and more.
Currently, Haliburton's signing to Puma has yet to be confirmed by either of the parties involved.
UPDATE (10/08): Haliburton and Puma have officially announced their new partnership today. The Pacer All-Star guard also issued a statement about joining the brand, saying, "I'm super excited to announce that I've joined the Puma Family. I look forward to being a part of their commitment to the next generation of basketball. Puma's vision and dedication to supporting athletes align perfectly with my goals, and I’m excited to represent the brand on and off the court."
Puma confirmed that Haliburton will wear the All-Pro Nitro sneaker this upcoming season, which can be seen in the photo below.
