LSU Defeats Clemson to Win 2020 National Championship Title

On Monday night, No. 1 seed LSU Tigers defeated No. 3 seed, and 2019 National Championship winnersClemson Tigers to win the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

The final score was 25-42. Both teams entered the match with records of 14–0.

LSU's last national championship win was back in 2008.

During Monday's game, LSU quarterback Joe Burrow was able to set some impressive records.

Speaking of records, the Heisman Trophy winner made some not too long ago during the 2019 Peach Bowl.

Outside of the actual game, the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship was pretty eventful thanks to the appearance of Donald and Melania Trump.

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees even got a pic with him.

Vince Vaughn was also seen chatting it up with Trump.
