The Super Bowl champion admitted to USA TODAY after the game that his second personal foul of the day on Panthers WR Corey Brown was on purpose.
That was Talib's second personal foul before halftime and if you were paying attention to commissioner Roger Goodell's pre-Super Bowl press conference, then you know that the NFL is looking at a rule change that could result in an ejection after a player racks up two personal foul penalties. We have the whole Josh Norman-Odell Beckham Jr. fiasco to potentially thank for that.
Talib got an earlier personal foul for taunting Panthers receiver Philly Brown that helped extend a Carolina drive. Talib said he was just having "a regular conversation" with Brown.
