Peyton Manning vehemently denied allegations he ever used performance enhancing drugs Sunday and one of his greatest rivals voiced his support for the future Hall of Famer amid the controversy Monday.
Tom Brady expressed admiration for his friend as the fallout continues from the Al Jazeera documentary that alleges Manning used performance enhancing drugs—like HGH—during his days with the Colts.
Appearing on WEEI radio in Boston, Brady admitted "I don't know the details of anything" but vouched for Manning's upstanding character and predicted he would weather the media storm, adding "He knows how to handle these things."
Manning is so livid over the documentary that reports he was administered HGH while recovering from neck surgery in 2011 that he told MMQB's Peter King that he will probably sue Al Jazeera. "I'm that angry," Manning told King.
