Clippers Owner Donald Sterling Has Been Banned From the NBA for Life and Fined $2.5 Million

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver just banned Clippers owner Donald Sterling from the league for life and fined him $2.5 million.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver just announced that, effective immediately, Clippers owner Donald Sterling has been banned for life from the league. In addition to the ban, which will not allow Sterling to participate in any team activities, Sterling has also been fined a league maximum of $2.5 million. We will provide further updates on the league's punishment of Sterling as they become available.
