Brooke Hogan Reportedly ‘Feels at Peace’ Having Told Hulk Hogan She Loved Him Before Death
The father and daughter had reportedly been estranged for some time due to a number of issues between them.
Brooke Hogan reportedly had one last opportunity to tell her estranged father Hulk Hogan that she loved him.
Sources connected to the 37-year-old told TMZ that she learned of her father’s death on Thursday morning (July 24) when her brother, Nick, reached out to her husband to share the news.
The outlet reports that the pro wrestler and the "About Us" singer had been estranged for some time due to a number of issues between them. The last known conversation between them supposedly took place two weeks before Hulk married Sky Daily in September 2023.
Brooke reportedly told her father that she was concerned about him and didn’t think he should still be working so hard in light of his declining health — a shred of advice that Hulk seemingly didn’t receive well. He also apologized to Brooke during the call, but it’s unclear for what motive.
TMZ reports Brooke’s husband made multiple attempts to mend their relationship, particularly after Brooke nearly died during childbirth. Hulk allegedly responded in a cold manner and did not make an effort to meet Brooke’s children.
The source said Brooke feels lucky and grateful for having the opportunity to say "I love you" during their last conversation and feels at peace knowing she did everything she felt she could.
Hulk Hogan died at age 71 at his Florida home on Thursday (July 24), with cardiac arrest named as the initial cause for medics’ arrival at the residence. No additional information was made available at the time.
