Edie Falco apparently isn’t a fan of Joel Embiid.

The 61-year-old actress and passionate New York Knicks fan made an appearance on the latest episode of the Roommates Show podcast with Jalen Brunson, 28, and Josh Hart, 29.

At the 59 minute mark in the video linked below, the Brooklyn native and criticized 30-year-old Embiid for elbowing Brunson during a Knicks-76ers playoff game last year.

“I have one quick question. Joel Embiid, he’s mean,” Falco said. “He elbowed you in a game last year and I was gonna go after him. I mean, that’s how bad it was. And then I think I’ve seen you guys play since then and you guys are all cool with each other. I’m like, ‘You don’t hold a grudge?’”

“I don’t hold grudges, for the most part,” Brunson explained. “I’ve known Joel from before I even got in the league, I’ve met him a couple times. It’s just respect there. I think there’s a certain line, where, like, there’s respect and you’re all competing and once it’s done... it’s good. I wouldn’t say it’s 'cool,' I would say it’s good.”

Falco, who starred as Carmela in The Sopranos, said she became a basketball fan after the popularity of the HBO series had her receiving invites and on a whim decided to go to a game.

“It was just one of those things like, ‘Oh my God.’” she said. “I was a baseball fan. Mets, ‘cuz I grew up on Long Island and I just hadn't anticipated how it would grab me, and it just did and and I've been going ever since.”

However, Falco says she struggles with some recent roster changes.

“You would think I would be better at managing trades than I am,” Falco said. “I don’t know who’s in charge of making these decisions but they gotta talk to the fans... A bunch of us really fell apart this last one. I’m coming around, the new guys are great.

More specifically, Falco is struggling with the Karl-Anthony Towns trade that sent Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

“You’re a Knick fan, but what does it mean to be a Knick fan? Just that they play in the Garden? It’s the guys, it’s the guys you get attached to,” Falco explained. “It’s the way they play together and the interactions and the inside jokes and whatever you guys all have that reads, you know? You get rid of a couple of those guys, I was like ‘Are you kidding me? You can’t do that ... It’s not healthy, man. I have kids and a life and stuff and I absolutely fell apart.”
