Nick Young reacted to the arrest of his former teammate Gilbert Arenas in the most Swaggy P way possible.

In a video shared to his Instagram on Wednesday (July 30), Young jokingly suggested that his sports show, Gil’s Arena, should be temporarily renamed Swaggy’s Arena, after caliing Arenas a "stupid motherdf*cker."

“We might as well just change the show to Swaggy's Arena in conjunction with Gilbert. We're gonna put a little Gilbert sign on the side,” Young said in the five-minute video response. “It's still Swaggy's arena until you come back home. And once you get out, it's back to you. But for now, I got it.”

“I never thought I'd see the day, my brother,” he said further into the video. “Hey man, wouldn’t be the first time I lost one of my friends to the seal. Just keep him in there cause he's been a fucked up friend ever since I met him. Just might as well just keep him.”

Young also joked, “Whatever he said, whatever y'all think he did, for more than likely, you know, just keep him in there, you know, he don't need to come back out. He don't need to see the light of day no more. I'm tired of this motherfucker.”

Arenas was arrested on Wednesday (July 30) in Southern California for allegedly operating an illegal gambling business out of his Encino mansion.

Federal prosecutors allege that between September 2021 and July 2022, Arenas and five others hosted high-stakes poker games, complete with chefs, security, valets, and waitresses to attract high-end gamblers.

They reportedly profited by taking a “rake” from each pot.

Arenas was charged with conspiracy and operating an illegal gambling business, both carrying potential five-year prison sentences per count, as well as an additional charge of making false statements to federal investigators.

He pleaded not guilty and was released on $50,000 bond the same day.

Arenas shared a video cheerfully exiting the jail while declaring, “They can’t hold me.”

Arena’s trial is set for late September.
