Jemele Hill Slams Antonio Brown Over Joy Taylor Lawsuit Comments
The two engaged in a back-and-forth on social media after Brown made a derogatory comment in a tweet about the sports journalist amid the sexual harassment lawsuit against Skip Bayless and others.
On Monday (Jan. 6), Antonio Brown used his X account to chime in on the controversy surrounding sports media following the sexual harassment lawsuit against Skip Bayless, Joy Taylor and other Fox Sports employees.
Brown, known for his unfiltered nature, did so by suggesting sports journalist Jemele Hill is not attractive and that men don’t want to sleep with her.
"Nobody wanted to fuck Jamele huh? #CTESPN," he wrote, referencing the ongoing sexual harassment lawsuit, where it's alleged that Taylor slept with executives to receive promotions at Fox Sports.
Long after the tweet was posted, Hill fired back at the former NFL star and a user who also commented on the insulting thread. "And yo lame ass went running to the Internet because you weren't crazy enough to say that shit to my face," she wrote.
Hill then took a moment to defend herself and address Brown's slander, writing, "Well, I wouldn't know anything about being community, but you do. Please share with the class what it's like to be passed around, since you have so much experience."
To which Brown simply replied: "Really good comeback Jamele...."
The back and forth comes after a former Fox Sports hairstylist, Noushin Faraji, filed a 42-page lawsuit alleging workplace misconduct, including sexual harassment, retaliation, and a toxic environment involving misogyny, racism, and ableism. The suit names Fox, executives, Bayless, Taylor, and others as defendants and seeks class-action status for similarly affected employees.
Brown is no stranger to making controversial remarks. Back in November, the retired NFL player caught Lizzo's attention when he alluded to her using the weight-loss drug Ozempic.
Instead of clapping back at his comment, Lizzo referenced it in a new post, writing, “Holding life like an Ozempic pen..😝," alongside a photo of herself in a bikini.
Earlier this week, Shannon Sharpe denied any involvement in the sexual harassment allegations against Bayless and other Fox Sports employees. Speaking on his Nightcap podcast with Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, Sharpe addressed a fan’s question, emphasizing, “That ain’t got nothing to do with me,” and stated there’s nothing for him to address regarding the situation.
