Damon Stoudamire Says "Jail Blazers" Documentary Is On the Way

During the early '00s, the Trail Blazers were one of the NBA's most talented and troubled teams. After reaching the Western Conference Finals in two consecutive years (1999 and 2000), the Blazers made some questionable roster changes that aided in a disastrous freefall that included three straight first round exits, team chemistry issues, and multiple run-ins with the law. Damon Stoudamire, the Jail Blazers point guard and leader, appeared on the Portland radio show Dirt and Sprague recently to talk about his new gig as the head coach of Pacific men's basketball team and his days with the Blazers.

Stoudamire also mentioned that he has been working on a Jail Blazers documentary, telling Dirt and Sprague:

Honestly, FX should consider this Blazers era for their next American Crime Story season. It has all the makings of a thriller: alleged sexual assault, dog-fighting, drug possession, and fights during practice and timeouts. We would tune in every week.
