Baltimore Police Issues Arrest Warrant for Man Who Attacked Fans After Ravens-Commanders Game
A video that surfaced earlier this month showed a man looking for a fight with any supporters of the Washington Commanders.
The Baltimore Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for the Baltimore Ravens fan who was seen on video assaulting two Washington Commanders fans at random following the game between the teams on Sunday, Oct. 13.
As reported by TMZ, police are seeking the man seen in the viral clip, 24-year-old John Callis. He is facing one first-degree aggravated assault and three second-degree assault charges in connection with the assault. In the video, Callis was seen in a Lamar Jackson jersey as he attacked two 23-year-old Commanders fans unprovoked.
His face was clearly seen in the video and he showed no remorse as he flexed for the camera. "I don't lose," he said to the camera.
After the video went viral following the game, the Baltimore Police Department issued a statement to indicate they were seeking more information regarding the assault.
“The Baltimore Police Department is aware of a social media video depicting an assault occurring near Cross Street in our Southern District. Currently, there have been no reports or calls made to police concerning this incident. Detectives are actively investigating the video," read the statement. "Anyone possessing information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the Southern District at 410-396-2499 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-Lockup.”

As reported by Fox News, Callis has since lost his job at the Baltimore insurance company Maury Donnelly & Parr Inc. after the clip circulated online. "MDP has a zero-tolerance policy for violence and aggressive behavior. This individual is no longer employed with our firm," the firm confirmed.
