In all the drama surrounding Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor's fight at UFC 229, it's been easy to overlook some of the other events that took place on Saturday night. Before Khabib and McGregor went at it, Alexander Volkov and Derrick Lewis fought for almost 15 minutes. It was looking unlikely that Lewis would come through on top, with Volkov in control through most of the match.
However, Lewis fought back right at the end with an impressive series of blows.

What came after this fight, however, wasn't as violent as the Khabib-McGregor aftermath. Speaking with Joe Rogan as he celebrated, Derrick Lewis was immediately asked why he took his pants off, responding, "My balls was hot."
After making a quip about Donald Trump, Lewis was asked who he wanted to fight next. His answer? "I need to sit my black ass down, do some cardio, fuck what you talking about right now." Of course, speaking with Joe Rogan, Lewis couldn't resist the chance to keep it topical, joking, "Maybe next week, I'll come on your show and smoke some weed with you." Watch the legend speak above.
