Jaylen Brown and Kysre Gondrezick Seemingly Confirm Romance, Attend ESPYs Together

Boston Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown and WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick made a surprise announcement at the ESPY Awards by showing up arm-in-arm.

The NBA and WNBA players, 27 and 26 respectively, arrived together for the red carpet at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, July 11. The pair haven't commented on whether they're officially dating or not, but they appeared very close on the red carpet and were reportedly seen getting ready for the event in the same room at a nearby hotel, per TMZ. They also left the show together in the same vehicle.

The pair sparked dating rumors last month after Gondrezick joined Brown for the Boston Celtics' celebration at the championship parade. She was previously romantically linked to Kevin Porter Jr., who was arrested after he allegedly assaulted her last year. Porter was dropped by the Houston Rockets and later pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and harassment charges. The NBA reopened the investigation into the allegations after he signed with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Brown picked up the ESPY Award for Best Championship Performance on Thursday, but before that, he was asked by reporters about his Paris Olympics snub, which he recently appeared to blame on Nike.

"I don't really got no comment, you known what I mean," he told Cam Newton on the red carpet. "I got my beautiful date right there, so."

Kawhi Leonard recently announced he would withdraw from Team USA, and Brown seemed like a great choice to replace him. However, it was announced that his Celtics teammate Derrick White would be taking Leonard's spot, which didn't seem to sit right with Brown.
