During an interview on the One Night with Steiny podcast, Brooklyn Nets player Michael Porter Jr. said that he always tries to get women to watch Andrew Tate with him to see how they feel about it.

"I need to see a little bit about their, like, beliefs," said Porter around the 37:50 point of the podcast, as seen below, when discussing how he approaches dating as a public figure. "So, I'm not saying I'm a misogynist or anything, but I'll throw on some Andrew Tate and see how they react... I'll bring up, like, conversations and play devil's advocate just to see how this girl, like, thinks about certain things."
He didn't clarify whether he would appreciate if they agreed with Tate or expressed disapproval.

During the same podcast, he suggested that he would never date a woman if they've been romantically involved with someone he's "cool" with. He also said that if he's to date anyone, they need to "bring something to the table."

"I don't mind providing for you, I don't mind doing that," he said. "You can stay at the crib, you can do your thing. You gotta bring something to the table. You gotta help me mentally, you gotta be able to cook or something... otherwise what value are you bringing to my life. These girls nowadays it's like they just want to live like queens and do absolutely nothing."

Elsewhere in the podcast, the Brooklyn Nets forward suggested that sports betting has become a serious problem when it comes to the NBA.

“Think about it: if you can get all your homies rich by telling them, ‘Yo, bet $10,000 on my under. This one game, I’m gonna act like I got an injury, I’ma sit out, I’ma come out after three minutes,’ and they all get a little bag because you did it one game,” he told the hosts of One Night With Steiny. “That is so not okay, but some people probably think like that. They come from nothing and all their homies have nothing.”

His comments about women come not long after he opened up about a "vice" of his on his Curious Mike podcast. “Everybody has different vices,” Porter Jr. said, noting that his has "always come in the form of women."
