Hulk Hogan died from a heart attack, new information that's been revealed just one week after the wrestling legend's death.

According to a report from Page Six, records from the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center state the 71-year-old died from acute myocardial infarction, more commonly known as a heart attack.

The report states Hogan also had a history of atrial fibrillation, which is a condition that causes an irregular heartbeat. What's more, the documents reportedly state Hogan had been diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a form of cancer, a detail that was not previously known to the public.

It was July 24 when paramedics rushed to Hogan's home in Clearwater, Florida for reports of a man in cardiac arrest. Videos on social media began to circulate showing first responders removing Hogan from the home on a stretcher while they appeared to be performing chest compressions.

Following his death, Hogan was honored on WWE's Monday Night Raw with a 10-bell salute while his son, Nick, and other wrestling superstars stood on stage to remember the wrestler.

During the ceremony, Triple H said, "We lost one of the biggest and most globally recognized icons in the world." He continued, "The truth is, he captivated millions of people and inspired them around the globe. We would not be standing here right now, all of us together, if it was not for him."

Hogan's ex-wife Linda broke her silence on the wrestler's death only a few days after he passed, writing she still loved him and really thought he would make a comeback into the wrestling world.

However, it hasn't been all love for Hogan since his death. Fitness influencer, Joey Swoll, who posted a pic of himself dressed as the wrestling legend, was met with swift criticism for the photo by fans pointing out Hogan's troubled past.

Swoll eventually took down the photo, claiming he'd received death threats and even said he was considering quitting social media from the backlash. He apologized for not digging deeper into Hogan's past.
