Holly Holm Says She Would Beat Ronda Rousey 10 Times If They Had 10 Fights
After she heard that Ronda Rousey was going to be rooting for Holly Holm to beat her at UFC 196 earlier this week, Miesha Tatetold reporters that she was going to ruin the Rousey/Holm rematch by beating Holm.
“If that’s what she wants, sorry, but I’m going to ruin that for her,” she said. “If they want to make that rematch happen, that’s how I see it going down, because on Saturday, I’m going to go in there, and I’m confident I’m going to win the belt.”
Tonight, Tate followed through on her promise. She forced Holm to submit in the fifth round of their UFC 196 fight. Tate is now the new UFC bantamweight champion. Check out the clip above to see her take the belt from Holm.
