Memphis-South Florida Becomes Latest Football Game to Get Interrupted by a Cat
The cat's whereabouts are currently unknown.
What's with all these football-loving felines?
During the third quarter of Saturday's game between Memphis and South Florida, a gray cat dashed onto the field right before a Tigers kickoff. The four-legged furball was seen running about 40 yards down the sideline before darting under a cart at Raymond James Stadium.
Several staffers attempted to locate and capture the fast-moving cat, but it's unclear if they were successful.

A similar incident occurred earlier this month during the Cowboys-Giants game at MetLife Stadium. Shortly after the game, the stadium announced it had set up a number of "humane traps" to catch the animal. MetLife also denied "erroneous reports" that it "houses and feeds 300 cats."
