Watch Jimmy Butler Fall Out of His Chair After Magician Pulls off Insane Magic Trick

Jimmy Butler is enjoying his offseason.

On Monday, the Golden State Warriors player shared a TikTok of a magician performing a card trick for him. In the clip, the magician places some cards and a deck in Butler’s hands, and after pulling a couple of them, the magician snaps his fingers and takes the deck from Butler.

He then rips open the deck and pulls out an extremely tiny snake, which causes Butler to yell, jump out of his seat, and fall onto the ground. J Balvin then comes into view, laughing and embracing the magician. Balvin sees if Jimmy’s okay, who says, “Get that snake away from me, dog. I swear to God, I’ll fight. I swear to God—I don’t play with snakes.”

“That was a good one, eh?” Balvin asks while holding the snake. “No, it’s not,” Butler responds.

It’s unclear where the trick took place, but it appears to be at some sort of beach club. The Warriors recently entered the off-season after losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA playoffs. Stephen Curry suffered a hamstring injury in Game 1 of the Warriors and Timberwolves’ series and was unable to return to the court.

Butler has been playing for GSW since February, when he was traded from the Miami Heat. He agreed to a two-year, $121 million extension with the Warriors that will last through the 2026-2027 season.
