Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld Are Engaged
The Buffalo Bills QB confirmed their relationship this July.
Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld have announced their engagement.
The couple took to Instagram on Friday, Nov. 29 to post a photo of Allen’s wedding proposal overlooking the water. In the image, the Buffalo Bills QB is seen on one knee and Steinfeld is bent forward as they share a kiss.
According to Deuxmoi, Allen and Steinfeld got engaged during the Bills’ recent bye week, using his scheduled break to ask Steinfeld to marry him.
The two were first romantically linked in spring 2023 after they were seen together in New York City in late May. Allen later confirmed their relationship in July 2024 with an Instagram hard launch.
Allen joined the Bills in 2018. Though the NFL team hasn’t gone to the Super Bowl since 1994, they are currently the No. 1 seed in the AFC East with a 9-2 record. Josh recently spoke on his team’s standing, which was 8-2 at the time.
“It’s awesome to get to eight wins through 10 games,” Allen said, per Sports Illustrated. “Still got a lot of season left, so we’re not really looking at it as that. It’s just really onto the next one.”
Steinfeld has a flourishing career of her own. The singer and actress appeared in the 2010 western film, True Grit, which landed her several accolades, including Academy Award and BAFTA Award nominations, and the 2016 comedy-drama movie The Edge of Seventeen, which earned her a Golden Globe nod.
She’s also appeared in the Pitch Perfect film series (2015-2017), voiced Gwen Stacy / Spider-Woman in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and the sequel (2023), starred in the Netflix series Arcane (2021-2024), and has played Kate Bishop in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2021. In 2020, Hailee dropped her second EP, Half Written Story.
