The Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Formula One Team (VCARB) are doing their part to inspire creatives globally with their brilliant Creator Platform initiative. For the second year running, VCARB’s global search is on for the best in photography, videography, design, music and more.
The Creator Platform was created as an exclusive space for rising talent to showcase their skills and unique perspectives within Formula One. Over the years, F1 has grown to encompass more than just the fast sport of racing—it is now a culture and lifestyle that people near and far want to be part of. And that’s where VCARB comes in: they want to offer the opportunity to spotlight and raise the profiles of the best up-and-coming talent that the world has to offer, giving them all exclusive experiences across a race weekend in a bid to inspire and champion them. By using drivers, events and partner activations as a canvas, creatives will get the chance to tell the story of the Team through their lens, which will be shared across VCARB’s platforms and beyond.
“Over the last couple of years, Formula One has reinvented itself, meaning the way our story is being told, the way our fans are experiencing the sport is also changing,” says Peter Bayer, CEO, VCARB. “With a huge increase in fans, there is huge interest in what happens on track and behind the scenes, and they want to be part of it. We want to push forward and engage with our ever-growing Gen Z fanbase and continue to provide great racing combined with a bit of fun and music and alternative culture.
“That’s why we established the Creator Platform: to allow people from all industries to be involved in the sport and join us across a race weekend in order to tell our story through their lens. In every form of creativity, they will find an opportunity in this team. We will continue to democratise the sport by bringing F1 into multiple disciplines around the world.”
On Thursday 13th March, as an extension of the Creator Platform, VCARB will host ‘Garage Sessions’, an event in Melbourne that blends the worlds of F1 and music. This event aims to celebrate the unique sound of Melbourne by giving local and emerging artists the chance to play alongside house music star Honey Dijon. Creatives will have to sign up to each opportunity and will then be shortlisted and selected by decision makers and VCARB drivers, Yuki and Isack.
“The Creator Platform isn’t just about making content—it’s about building a community,” says Olly Hughes, CMO, Red Bull Technology. “Breaking into F1 as a creative has never been easy, but we’re here to change that. Our Creator Platform is designed to make us the most accessible team on the grid, giving storytellers, content creators and creative innovators a platform to share their passion for racing. We understand the barriers to entry, and we’re committed to opening doors, providing opportunities, and reshaping how fans experience the sport.
“By empowering a new generation of creatives, we’re not just building a fanbase—we’re redefining what it means to be part of an F1 team.”
The first ‘Garage Sessions’ of the season will take place at the Australian GP in Melbourne on Thursday 13th March at Sub Club from 10pm-2am. For more information, head here.
