Broncos' WR Cody Latimer Gets Arrested After Calling Cops on His Girlfriend
Broncos' WR Cody Latimer was arrested for an old traffic ticket after calling the cops on his girlfriend.
This is a moment that serves as a great lesson we should pay our traffic tickets as promptly as possible. Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer was involved in a domestic dispute Monday in which he called the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office on his girlfriend. He filed a complaint at 2:40 a.m. that stated she had "put her hands on him." It turned into a double whammy for Latimer because he didn't just call the cops on her, but also called the cops on himself.
The Arapahoe County police ran background checks on the three-year veteran Broncos wideout and his girlfriend Jaimee Rando. Latimer was then made aware that he had an outstanding traffic ticket and warrant for his arrest from more than a year prior to the incident. The ticket was issued to Latimer on March 2015 for improper lighting on his vehicle. He was arrested after failing to appear for the April 2015 court date.
The ticket was finally paid Tuesday when Latimer paid a $311.50 fee. His girlfriend Rando was arrested for assault and disturbing the peace before being bailed out by Latimer Tuesday afternoon.
