132 Cars Destroyed in the Filming of "A Good Day to Die Hard"

From CLAs and G-Wagens to Sprinter vans and Unimogs, Mercedes-Benz supplied a good portion of the vehicles demolished for the film.

When John McClane is on the case, there are two things that you can count on: cheesy one-liners, and car explosions, and from the look of things in this short piece from Mercedes-Benz TV, the latest installment of the "Die Hard" franchise, "A Good Day to Die Hard," has plenty of the latter. Having supplied the production with a good portion of the 132 vehicles you'll see being blown to bits in the film, they're a bit of an authority on the subject and detail some of the rides they offered up including a host of CLAs, Unimogs, Sprinters, and even a brand new G-Wagen (which it pains us to watch get demolished).
