Ken Griffey Jr. Recreates 26-Year-Old Rookie Card in Macklemore Video

Seattle's greatest player turns back the clock to 1989.

Macklemore has never been shy about his fandom forthe Seattle sports scene and his newest video (linked below) is no exception. In it (around the 1:42 mark) soon-to-be-Hall-of-Famer/greatest player in Mariners history Ken Griffey Jr. makes a brief cameo where he catches a fish and (more importantly) recreates his famous 1989 Upper Deck rookie card. It's a dose of don't-blink-or-you'll-miss-it nostalgia that takes us back to a time when kids/collectors scraped their dough together to buy utterly pointless pictures and stats printed onto cardboard.
