Bill Belichick took some time in his new memoir to show love to his girlfriend Jordon Hudson, who was highlighted as his “muse" in the acknowledgements.

Upon the May 6 release of Belichick's book, The Art of Winning: Lessons From My Life in Football, it was reported that the former New England Patriots general manager, 73, wrote a special thank-you to his girlfriend Hudson, 24.

"Thank you to my idea mill and creative muse, Jordon Hudson," Belichick wrote after thanking longtime friend and business partner Berj Najarian and his promotional team at InkWell Management and Simon & Schuster.

In the book's beginning acknowledgements, Belichick mentioned his late parents and grandparents, along with his godfather, and his three children, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Debby Clarke Belichick.

Hudson's been a constant presence in Belichick's chaotic book rollout, causing a stir last month when she interrupted his CBS Sunday Morning interview. Hudson, whose LinkedIn lists her as a former part-time chief operating officer of Belichick Productions, interjected after anchor Tony Dokoupil asked Belichick how the couple met.

Hudson would later post an email on Instagram from Belichick to Inkwell Company about his frustrations about a portion of his memoir being misinterpreted. The former football coach also predicted that interviews during the book rollout would focus on "click bait."

"These appearances will, no doubt, want to focus on whatever negatives they can extract from the book, and all the current events that don’t have anything to do with the book, but are most relevant to their 'ratings' and their agenda (which is not mine)," he wrote.
