Bronny James Shares Sweet Message to Girlfriend While on the Road With Lakers
Shortly before the Los Angeles Lakers played an away game against the Detroit Pistons, Bronny posted an Instagram Stories dedication to Whitfield.
Bronny James isn't hiding his love for his high school sweetheart, Parker Whitfield.
While Bronny, the son of NBA veteran LeBron James and Savannah James, is getting comfortable in his debut season in the league, the 20-year-old couldn't forget about his girlfriend during an away game on Monday (November 4).
Hours before the Lakers were set to play the Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena, Bronny posted an Instagram Story with a picture of him and Whitfield, which was taken while the two were visiting Disneyland Paris. The couple were in the City of Light during the 2024 Summer Olympics, around the time they made things official.
"I miss my baby," Bronny wrote in his Story, per TMZ. "Love u sm."
During the Paris Olympics, Bronny, his younger brother, Bryce, 17, and Whitfield caught the men's basketball semi-final match between Team U.S.A. and Team Serbia at the Bercy Arena on August 8. The couple were seen spending quality time around Paris, just weeks before Whitfield posted a National Boyfriend Day tribute to Bronny on October 3. "Bf day! i love you! @bronny," Whitfield wrote at the time, per Sports Illustrated.
Whitfield, who's the daughter of actress-director Salli Richardson-Whitfield and actor Dondré Whitfield, attends Spelman College as a sophomore in Atlanta but previously went to Sierra Canyon School in California with Bronny. At the university-preparatory day school, Bronny played basketball while Parker played baseball. Whitfield also has a younger brother, Dre, 13.
In September, Whitfield's mother told Us Weekly that she lives a life outside of the spotlight despite dating Bronny.
"The kids are pretty normal because my daughter’s going to Spelman [College]. She’s like, 'I’m studying economics. I don’t care about this Hollywood stuff.'"
