Retired NFL quarterback Cam Newton dropped a bombshell when he admitted to having sexual relations apart from his current girlfriend, comedian Jasmin Brown.

The couple, who've been together since 2021 and share an 8-month-old son, seem to keep communication open after Newton's confession on the Oct. 18th episode of his Funky Friday podcast. While chatting with comedian Corey Holcomb at around the 2:14:00 mark of the video below, Newton openly shared that Brown hasn't been the only woman he's been intimate with during their relationship.

"As long as I’ve been with Jas, Jas has not been the only person I’ve had sex with," he told Holcomb.

The clip caused an uproar on social media, as did Newton's previous thoughts on women and dating. But on her Instagram Stories, Brown claimed to be unbothered by her man's truth.

"Childddddd here come the 'just checking on you' DMs. I am fine," Brown wrote. "Trust me, I know who and what my n***a is. Ain’t no secrets or surprises. He can talk to me about anything. Ain't no secrets or surprises. He can talk to me about anything."

In a 2022 episode of the podcast Lovers and Friends, Brown talked about her willingness to "serve" Newton, as seen around the 6:30-minute mark of the video below.

Newton's alleged treatment of Brown and perhaps the mothers of his seven older children has been criticized before, deconstructed particularly in an August episode of Funky Friday by life coach Dr. Cheyenne Bryant. At the time, Newton said that he wants more children, but didn't plan to commit through matrimony.

"My point is this: my desire to get married is lower than my fear of divorce," Newton said around the 1:38:00-minute mark of the video below.
