Joy Taylor Explains Why She’s Open to Dating Elderly Men: ‘I’m Doing This for All of Us’
Taylor called younger men "aggressive" while older men are financially stable.
Joy Taylor has a wide age range for the men she prefers.
With middle-aged women like Tracee Ellis Ross being open about their dating age requirements, Taylor, 38, joined the dialogue on podcast The Truth After Dark. In the video below, hosts Paul Pierce and Azar Farideh were curious about how mature Taylor wants her man to be.
Around the 20-minute mark of the video above, the sports anchor shared that the youngest she'll go is 25. "25 is a grown-ass man," Taylor said.
"I'm not going to get up here and lie, okay. "Young men are very aggressive and they do not care how old I am," she explained.
But Taylor also has love for older gentlemen, even being open to dating 70-year-olds.
"You got Steph Curry range," Pierce joked.
"And to be clear like I date within five years of my age range. I'm just answering the question," Taylor said. "If you see me pull up with a 70-year-old, don't ask any fucking questions, okay. He's got a plane. I'm doing this for all of us."
Taylor added that older men usually have "great stories," among other good qualities. "I like to talk. They got all the stories, they're very confident, they appreciate you, they're very sweet," she continued.
A prominent sports figure being open to dating younger isn't shocking, as Bill Belichick, 73, dates 24-year-old Jordon Hudson.
