Snoop Dogg Tests His 'Lung Power' During Swimming Lesson From Michael Phelps
The Olympic Games Paris 2024 festivities continue for the Boss Dogg.
Snoop Dogg put down the torch and hit the swimming pool for his latest Summer Olympics Paris 2024 activity.
The rap legend took part in a special NBC segment with 28-time Olympian and former professional swimmer Michael Phelps to fulfill one of his "lifetime goals."
"You see me and MP; we go back like the backstroke. Now, MP, how does one get fast in the pool?" Snoop asked while introducing Phelps. The athlete pointed out wingspan and lung power as two key necessitites, which the Boss Dogg is already familiar with.
"You just described me! You said wingspan, lung power—I definitely have great lung power," said the lifelong marijuana enthusiast.
"And I do have a swimmer’s body. Look, our bodies are similar, man," Snoop added. "We could be twins!"
After saying "hell naw" to wearing goggles, Snoop hilariously demostrated his swimming technique before Phelps, whom he called "Flipper," took a turn. Snoop then offered for the two to try out a "freestyle" of "synchronized swimming," which the Long Beach native got the hang of.
"Mike, you make this look too easy. You see I’m in gold medal condition," Snoop joked. "And he’s still in gold medal condition as we speak!"
He concluded, "Shout out to the Phelps family and to the team that’s going to give me some oxygen right now."
Snoop's clearly been active throughout the Paris Olympics, even spending some bonding time with his granddaughter (who's learning French), second son Cordell, and daughter-in-law, Phia.
