Stephen Curry Says He's a 'Big Drake Guy' in Kendrick Lamar Beef Aftermath: 'I Still Rock With Drake'

Stephen Curry was referenced in Kendrick Lamar's "Meet the Grahams," where he was warned to "stay away" from Drake.

Although hip-hop fans might've crowned Kendrick Lamar as the winner of his feud with Drake, Stephen Curry hasn't switched sides on the 6 God.

To promote his upcoming Peacock series, Mr. Throwback, the Golden State Warriors point guard was interviewed by GQ, where he was asked for his input on Kendrick and Drake's feud. Over the spring, the two artists battled it out across multiple diss tracks, with Curry being named in Kendrick track "Meet the Grahams." On the song, K. Dot alluded to Curry and LeBron James' friendship with Drizzy, warning both to "keep the family away."

But the lyric possibly made Curry lean into supporting Drake more, as he told GQ, "I'm a big Drake guy."

He continued, "I’ve been for a long time. I think obviously you know what it is for the rap industry to have that, but I still rock with Drake. Absolutely. Absolutely."

Curry clearly hasn't been Team Kendrick this year, complaining last month that Kendrick's Billboard top-charting hit "Not Like Us" wasn't the "only song in America."

Other basketball stars like the aforementioned James, Russell Westbrook and DeMar DeRozen appeared at Kendrick's Pop Out concert in June. The latter, who also appeared in the "Not Like Us" music video, told the Sacramento Bee that he still considers Drake to be his "man."

"It's so easy to get overlooked and look at it for what it looks like, but at the end of the day it's music, entertainment," DeRozen told the publication. "Two of the biggest rappers in the world went at it from a competitive standpoint, and they battled it out."
