Tyrese Haliburton rewarded a fan with Game 4 tickets after he was attacked by New York Knicks fans.

After the Knicks defeated the Boston Celtics in Game 6, Hans Perez was pelted with two garbage bags by Knicks fans outside Madison Square Garden.

After the clip went viral, Perez, who was wearing a Tyrese Haliburton jersey, was a guest on The Pat McFee Show. Haliburton popped in to surprise the firefighter with tickets to Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

"Pat told me he found you yesterday, called me, I said, 'I gotta get on the show, and talk to him myself'" the point guard told Perez. "I wanna personally bring you and a plus-one out here to come to Game 4 here in Indiana. I'll bring you guys up here, put you guys up, get you guys seats to the game."

Haliburton added that the Pacers wanted to ensure that Perez was "taken care of." "All the team's excited to meet you," he added. Perez, who will have to take time off from work, joked that he's "pretty sure" something can be arranged with his firefighting crew.

"I just wanna say thank you Tyrese, man. You are awesome. The team is awesome–I appreciate that. And man, let's go Pacers," Perez concluded.

Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals begins Wednesday between the Knicks and Pacers.
